eCommerce agency Visualsoft has appointed Liam Quinn as its new director of innovation.
The firm says the strategic hire marks a key step in its mission to create industry-leading solutions for Shopify merchants.
Quinn joins with extensive experience from some of the UK’s most respected and forward-thinking eCommerce agencies. Throughout his career, he has helped major retail brands navigate and thrive online and offline via Shopify, developing a deep understanding of what merchants need to grow today – and how to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.
“We’re pleased to welcome Liam to the team. Retail is evolving fast – customer expectations are rising, technology is accelerating, and competition is fierce,” said Chris Fletcher, CEO of Visualsoft.
“Innovation isn’t just a buzzword – it’s essential. Liam brings the expertise and strategic thinking that will help our clients not just keep pace, but set the pace.”
In his new role, Quinn will head up Visualsoft’s newly created innovation function, focusing on emerging technologies, developing tools and products that complement Shopify, and delivering greater value for clients.
He said: “Visualsoft has a strong reputation for delivering results, and I’m looking forward to building on that. Innovation is about making life easier and more profitable for retailers – whether that’s simplifying complex processes, introducing automations, or creating new ways for brands to connect with customers. I’m excited to get started.”
His appointment follows a string of recent strategic moves at Visualsoft. In February Andrea Porter-Keel joined as chief revenue officer, becoming the first woman to join the company’s C-suite, and Visualsoft launched its new Shopify POS offering to support retailers with their physical stores with Matthew Eley as the agency’s first retail product lead last month.
